RR1232 | Not listening to Carlos Rios’ Remix EP is simply a Tragedy

Technofreak | September 11, 2012

Carlos Rios was born in Chili, but raised in Amsterdam. He grew up with graffiti, hip hop and early house music. It was not until the late nineties, that he was infected by the techno virus. He surrounded himself with the right equipment and started producing and DJ-ing. His solo projects, but also his different collaborations in producing and DJ-ing and releases on labels like Audio Assault and Patterns, made him one of Holland’s top DJ and producer.

In 2011 he released his first track on Repressure called “Tragedy”.┬áNow in 2012 we have a re-release of this pumping techno track with remixes from Dublin based Paul Farrell and Jamez & Soulboy.

Dublin based Paul Farrell, has been DJing for the last ten years. Starting out with a love for Hip Hop and over the years progressed to find his sound in Techno music of all shapes and sizes. Producing is one of his new endavours and it’ss pretty sure to us, that he has the right skills to climb to the top in techno.Influenced by the greatest, like Dave Clarke, Luke Slater, Chris Liebing, Sven Vath, Adam Beijer and all that lies between, his productions will soon find their way to your ears.

Jamez & Soulboy are known for their bold & edgy work and with every release they get support by the biggest names in the industry.

Two beautiful different looks on an already brilliant piece of techno…Not listening to this EP is simply a Tragedy…
