Technofreak | September 27, 2011

The 12th release on Repressure is the 2nd release from Dutch techno talent Spetterphat (Rob Hes). His first single “Forgotten Himalaya” got a lot of attention from DJ’s all over the world. This 2nd single, with the splendid titles “A Small Flashback” and “SpaTTerr”, will definitely turn more heads round. With remixes from Rolando Vallice, Minilab, Camiel Daamen, Loophole and Repressure’s own Jamez and Soulboy, this 7 track EP is a treat for everyone’s ears.

Remixes from these beauties were done by top notch producers as well as new upcoming talent. Rolando Vallice is one of these promising producers and DJ’s. Released his first single this year on Paul Hazendonk’s Stolen Moments label. His big room techno sound will definitely create a buzz among all technoheads.

Camiel Daamen is one of Dutch finest producers and DJ’s. Started his career back in the nineties, playing all over the world and with releases on Hertz Music and Klopfgeist among many more, he knows exactly what the crowds want.

Loophole is Jamez’s solo project with which he released several singles on Touché records in the nineties. Earlier this year Loophole returned to the scene with new tracks on Repressure. The typical sound of Loophole fits in perfectly, giving the EP a touch of Touché flavour.

Minilab’s remix of “SpaTTerr” is a beauty. These two Dutch musicians have gained a lot of experience in the scene as DJ’s working with four decks simultaneous. They only just started to produce and release their music, so we can only imagine all the beauty that’s installed for us all.

Veterans Jamez & Soulboy do what they do best. With over 19 years experience in the scene, they know how to move the crowds. Their remix of “SpaTTerr” is a bonafide floorfiller.

With 2 original tracks and 5 remixes, this is a wannahave release and absolutely earcandy for your speakers….
